Which IEC file covers the MCB family?
Type tests follow IEC 60898-1. The 10 kA variant also references IEC 60947-2. Reports travel with the first article, not only a CE mark on the carton.
Can we keep the same footprint when we step from 6 kA to 10 kA?
Yes. VT-63H uses the same DIN-rail pitch as VT-63 so a panel drawing does not have to be redrawn.
